Can the people say Amen

When you look back over your life… look how far you’ve come…look where you’ve been…look at what you’ve done. Can the people say amen?

Even at your lowest point, you still came out on top.  Even though you might have some scars, you are still standing, walking, and some of you are even running! Can the people say amen? God has been good to you.

Today is your time in history to fulfill your goals, your destiny, and your purpose.  Ladies and gentlemen, there is no doubt about it you are the one.  You are chosen to be an influence in the world.  Make sure you choose you first because your purpose always starts from you. Can the church say amen?

Quote of the Day:

Freedom and time are our greatest gifts, but the hardest things to hold on too.

Question 1)

Dear Dr. Sam,

My husband is the greatest man I know.  He has been there for me and our children in every way.  We have a great relationship and a great family life, but I have a little situation?  Normally, when my husband and I make love it’s the greatest thing on earth, but lately he hasn’t been sexually into me.  Dr. Sam, my question is he losing interest in me?  (LeAnn, 35)

Dear LeAnn,

When a good man shuts down it most of the time it has nothing to do with the woman.  It has everything to do with the future. Let me explain? Good men are always working, thinking, planning and sometimes they become overwhelmed by the responsibilities of providing for their families.  Your husband while a young man, is not only juggling, the four C’s: cash flow, clothing, crib and car, but also children, job responsibilities, health concerns, just to name a few. When a man is focused he has plans with you in it. Reaching his goals are very important because it helps him define his place it the world.  Just be more loving, more patient, more supportive, and don’t worry.  The qualities that drew him to you will bind him to you if you continue to” make love… not war” and believe that he is just working something out for your good.

Question 2)

Dear Dr. Sam,

My girlfriend and I have been together for two years. Recently, we broke up because she said I did not trust her. I was looking through her phone, drilling her with questions, plus many other things. I love her and want to get this right. What should I do?  (Mark, 22)

Dear Mark,

The first thing you should do is breathe. If you do not trust her why are you with her? If you are insecure about the relationship then you are insecure about you. If you want her back give her some space, work on yourself, learn to trust, and most importantly show her how much you love her.
